I wish you all a wonderful week. After the summer time change, somehow my rhythm is messed up a bit. I have problems waking up in the morning and going to bed on time. Each time I ask myself what good does winter/summer time still do. I guess no one knows the answer. Do you like changing the time?
Since 80s, Guerlain is on top of the bronzer game. This year, with Terracotta Collection, the brand adds four new shades to their line-up, #00 Clair Blondes, #04 Moyen Blondes, #07 Fonce Doré and #09 Intense. I am excited to try the lightest shade #00 Clair Blondes, not because I am very blonde but because I like a subtle bronzer and I always found Terracotta Bronzers to be a bit too dramatic on me. I therefore like their Terracotta Four Seasons line better. Here are my thoughts and comparison swatches of Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #00 Clair Blondes.

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #00 Clair Blondes |
First things first, Guerlain Terracotta Bronzers are without a doubt the cult product of the brand. The name "Terracotta" though not only indicates summer vibes but also hints the color direction. Created during 80s, these have an obviously there, punch on the face drama, most of the shades lean very warm. During last years some contour/bronzer hybrid products came out with cooler undertones which can be used to sculpt the cheek bones while giving a barely there sun kissed look. In my opinion Terracotta line stays true to those and doesn't want to jump on the bandwagon, even with the lastest additions but before we come to these, here is the close up of the new embossment on the powder surface. I really like it much better than the older one. Other than that, the compact remains unchanged.

Guerlain Terracotta line composed of different bronzer types for different needs. In the photo you can see Joli Teint, which is a new line introduced last year. These are supposed to be Belle Mine products to give you a healthy complexion, similar to Chanel Les Beiges. Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint is the sheerest and lightest line (#03 reviewed here).
My favourite line must be Terracotta Four Seasons which is designed to suit the needs in Summer and Winter. The pan is divided into four parts. You can sweep your brush to upper or lower part to adjust the intensity. (#03 reviewed here, #08 is on the photo which I love to bits)
Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder is the most intense and most warm leaning of Terracotta lines to my experience. I have previously reviewed #02 (here) when they released it with special skins last summer, it was a bit too warm and dark for my winter skin although I ended up enjoying it during summer.

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #00 Clair Blondes, featuring Joli Teint, Four Seasons and Bronzing #02 |
Here are some comparison swatches for your reference. Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing #00 Clair Blondes is definitely lighter and a tad cooler than Terracotta Bronzing #02 Natural Blondes. I am also pleased to find it to be a little cooler than Joli Teint #03 which was too warm for my taste. Warm and light makes a nice orange blush though. Terracotta Bronzing #00 is also just a little cooler and lighter than 4 Seasons #03. I also added my all time favourite bronzer shade to bronze and contour in 2000s way, Tom Ford Terra. You can see how cool it pulls compared to all the Terracotta products I own.

All in all I really like this new addition to the line and enjoying it regularly. I don't have to be careful with this shade, I can just apply it with a brush with normal density and it warms up my face nicely. It s maybe not as contoury as Tom Ford Terra but looks lovely and natural. Here me wearing it, the details about this look will be up in a day or two.

FOTD: Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #00 Clair Blondes |
Final thoughts: I am loving the new addition to otherwise very dramatic Terracotta Bronzing Powder line. #00 Clair Blondes is a great shade for winter skin around NC 15 to 25 although if you have very cool undertones (NWs) it might still look a bit too warm. It smells divine as usual and the new embossment is lovely, worth checking out.
